James Marland is the host of the Scaling Therapy Practice and the founder of Course Creation Studio. He holds dual master's degrees in Ministry and Business Administration.

He has worked in mental health and social services since 2000. From 2019 to 2022 he was the Chief Operating Officer of Moved Forward Virtual Assistants, a company that provided support services for therapists and private practice offices. He is a Faculty Member at Lorman Education Services.

James is on a mission to support therapists in creating avenues for their expertise that are powerful and profitable.

Dr. S. David Hall

Dr. Stephen "David" Hall is the current creative lead of PsychMaven, as well as one of our primary teachers and consultants.

David has worked as a mental health therapist since 2005. He is licensed as a marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and as a licensed professional counselor - mental health service provider (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee. David is also the co-owner and clinic director of Haven Counseling Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

David has a passion for therapist career development and creative entrepreneurship in mental health.
